You can build a rod that is tailored to the exact use of the fishing situation. With the tools and a little knowledge, you will be able to repair with ease. What a great gift to give your fishing buddies! You will find that once you get into it, you can save a lot of money. You will walk away from this course with a brand new, working graphite rod for a materials fee of $110. It's very rewarding to catch a fish on a rod you built yourself. You can match a rod with the color of your boat, add snake skin, learn to weave a picture on the butt area, or just learn basic cross wraps in no time. Most people that learn to build their first rod take that know-how and build another and another. Rod building is addicting, rewarding, and fun!
