Joseph and Kalie Kubica have been teaching dancing for the Collier County Adult Education Program for 3 years. They learned to dance from professionals that appeared on the dance circuit, which resulted in the couple dancing 9 to 10 times a week for several years until proficient in most every dance. Smooth dances are their favorites and what they teach in the Adult Ed Program.

While on a cruise to St. Thomas, Joseph and Kalie were asked to return to the ship to teach dance lessons the next month, and with nothing else to do, they did just that for several years on different cruise lines. This resulted in having three booking agents and sailing many cruise lines, with some as long as 37 days.
Beginning students in the Joseph and Kalie's classes are made to feel very welcome and will do fine. There is a good following, with some students returning for the fifth or sixth time to learn things forgotten. Dance being an ongoing learning experience, there are always new techniques to be learned and mastered, so it's important to keep up on progress and keep the body in good physical condition.
When you join Joseph and Kailie's dance family, as they call it, there are many activities done as a group outside of class that include dancing. |
